| Susanne and Michelle's tell Kate what they think about the reported 'rift' between them. |
| Kate: So girls what's the story, what's going on and do you really hate each other? |
| Susanne: No, no not at all...I haven't read it because I'm not very good with stuff like that, so I woke up on Monday morning and I had a phone call from Sally who's the journalist who works on the show for all the interactive news. She was just chatting and she was like 'so have you read the papers today?' and I was like 'no??' and then she told me what'd been said and I still haven't actually read it. |
| Kate: Do you...let's clear this up once and for all...did you ever call Michelle a nasty name... |
| Kate: ...with reference to her weight? |
| Susanne: ...I've never...I've never said...I've never said it to Michelle, I've never said to anyone about Michelle. Because when...the thing that kind of makes it funny, but kind of just makes it even more hurtful is that when I was at school I was like really overweight, I was like a good size 18, I was like about 14 stone when I was about 14. So those names they said that I called Michelle are the ones that everyone used to call me when I was at school and anyone who knows me knows it would be the last, just the last thing I'd ever say and I just, the hard thing is when you don't know where it's come from you don't know how to stop it, it's like you can't say anything back, because if you say anything back it sounds like you're trying to defend yourself and you just can't... |
| Kate: Well this is a taste of how things could be should you go on...I mean Michelle, obviously very hurtful for you but good news, Rik Waller's backing you all the way! |
| Michelle: That made my life complete! Rik right behind me, what can I say? |
| Kate: What a brick he is 'ey! |
| Kate: I've always said Rik was a big brick...isn't that what I used to say? Something like that. |
| Michelle: So that made it all better really. |
| Kate: But were you hurt? Were you upset? Did you think maybe Susanne had said those things? Not that I'm stirring it up because I know you love each other. |
| Michelle: No well you do...I was a bit paranoid when I woke up Monday morning, because obviously I'd been out the night before in Glasgow as well so...when I woke up on the Monday morning I was kind of like...well I didn't think it would be true but you do start to get a bit paranoid and I'm thinking well, it's got to come from somewhere, where's this come from? So I just phoned Susanne straight away and we just sorted it out. |
| Susanne: She did phone me and say "I know you didn't say it...but...(where did it come from)" and I was like "I don't know!" ...and that's the hardest, hardest, hardest thing is just going what...unless someone literally just sat down at the computer and made it up...you just go like "Where's it come from? How do you stop it?" |
| Kate: Well maybe, well who knows...we don't know, so let's not waste energy trying to find out... |
